A beautiful three bedroom character cottage situated close to Oxshott Village railway station and Heath with its stunning woodland walks.

Garden Cottage is a stylishly presented cottage conveniently located on the Cobham/Oxshott border. It has been completely refurbished and extended in recent years to modern standards yet maintains the charm of the facade. The property boasts some wonderful features like underfloor heating and air-conditioning.

On entering into the hallway, you benefit from a bright and airy space with an array of storage cupboards and downstairs W/C. To the front is an elegant lounge featuring a gas fire and there are two windows to the front aspect. To the back is a spacious open plan kitchen/breakfast room with dining area and sitting area. The stylish kitchen has a range of wall and base units, a farmhouse kitchen sink and a series of integrated appliances. From here you can access a good size utility room with further storage, and space for a separate washing and drying machine.

Ascending the stairs to the first floor, there are three bedrooms and a family bathroom. The main bedroom, which overlooks the garden, benefits from floor to ceiling fitted wardrobes and a wonderful en-suite, with oversized walk-in shower. The two further bedrooms both feature fitted wardrobes.

The immaculately maintained rear garden is accessed through bi-folding doors in the kitchen/breakfast room. It has a tiled seating area spanning the width of the property and further along is a lawn with a home office and a shed at the back. The garden is bordered by a variety of mature shrubs and plants and can also be accessed via a gate to the side of the house. The front of the property is accessed via a good-sized driveway, providing parking for a number of vehicles. Both the front and rear garden benefit from an irrigation system.

Garden Cottage is well located for access to Oxshott Village at just 0.7miles, with its variety of local shops, boutiques, coffee shops, restaurants and all the usual local amenities. The property is also within walking distance of Oxshott Railway station, Oxshott Heath, and the popular Royal Kent School. Other nearby schools in the area are Danes Hill, Parkside, Reeds, The ACS Cobham International School, St. Andrews, Cobham Free School, Feltonfleet and Notre Dame.

NEW NAME. SAME COMMITMENT In 2021, my sister Claire and I took over the business that our father established in 2002. Since then, we’ve been on an incredible journey – and one that culminated in 2023 with a rebrand that saw us change from Grosvenor Billinghurst to Grosvenor . However, our new name quickly caught the attention of an asset management company, with a similar name, and we entered into legal discussions. Of course, being faced with this predicament so soon after launching a new identity was initially a blow; we had invested a lot of time, money and energy into the rebrand. But after really reflecting on the name Grosvenor in the context of the direction the business is now heading in, this new problem became an exciting opportunity. Firstly, Grosvenor was simply a name chosen by our father many years ago. It had no real bearing on who we are as a business today. Nor did it have any direct links back to Claire and I as owners. Furthermore, as a second-generation family business, it’s our name that is, as they say, above the door. And it’s our name that’s important when it comes to driving the business forwards – not Grosvenor . So, whilst the decision to change our name for a second time in 12 months was initiated by external factors, we’re glad that it’s happened. Now, the values that form the foundation of the business are no longer ascribed to Grosvenor, but to Davies Property Partners – our new (and final) name. With our family name now at the centre of the business and this newfound opportunity to celebrate our roots, we feel more invigorated than ever. As a family-owned and managed business that’s started a brand-new chapter, we now look forward to continuing our journey and being part of yours as you embark on your next chapter – either as a seller, buyer, landlord or tenant.
