Christian Malford is a pretty village, unusually with many facilities, a village shop/post office, church, village hall, two public houses and a primary school. Locally, Chippenham provides a fantastic range of shopping and cultural activities and includes a mainland train station with services running into London Paddington. There are also excellent road communications to Bristol (M4 J 17 approx 6 miles) and Swindon (M4 J 16 approx 16 miles) via the M4 together with London and the West County. The area has strong educational opportunities for both public and private schools including Christian Malford Primary School, St Mary's Calne, Marlborough and Westonbirt along with first class secondary schools in Chippenham.

From J 17 of the M4 take the exit towards Sutton Benger, follow this road to the B4069, turn left following the road through Sutton Benger village and on, into Christian Malford, on entering the village, turn right onto Station Road, past the village shop on your right and after about 100yds take the right fork onto The Green and then Church Road, follow this around to the right and Sidney House is on your right, just before the school.
