The property is situated close to the centre of the village, tucked away down Strawberry Lane, a small no-through road. Troy House has a handsome main façade with sash windows and internally offers very well-proportioned accommodation with good ceiling heights. The rooms are conveniently laid out with the main reception rooms being ideal for entertaining, as well as a kitchen which leads into a breakfast room which in turn opens into a bright and sunny garden room.

On the first floor are 4 bedrooms, one of which is currently used as a dressing room to the main bedroom.

Meysey Hampton is a popular rural village, with a well-regarded primary school, an excellent pub (The Mason’s Arms) and church.

Nearby Cirencester has a good range of shops, cultural and leisure facilities. As well as the usual chain stores and supermarkets (including Waitrose, Tesco, Aldi and Lidl) it has some great individual specialist shops. A number of excellent schools are within daily driving distance, including Farmor’s School in Fairford as well as Hatherop Castle, Pinewood, Beaudesert and Rendcomb.

There are many enjoyable walks in the area and Strawberry Lane becomes a footpath. A good range of sporting opportunities in the area include various golf courses and racing at Cheltenham and Newbury. There is a fast and regular Great Western Train to London Paddington from either Kemble or Swindon
stations, the latter from about 55 minutes. Road communications via the A419 dual carriageway with good access to Junction 15 (M4) at Swindon and on to Junction 11a (M5) at Gloucester.

At the front of the house is a large gravelled parking are with space for plenty of cars. A separate entrance from Strawberry Lane, with electric gates, leads to a big double garage. The garden lies principally to the south of the house. Well-maintained, it includes a large flat lawn with mixed borders.
