I have lived here for the past 16 years and have loved every minute of it. However, I feel it is time to move nearer to my daughter so I hope that another family will be able to get as much pleasure out of this lovely home as I have.Ventnor is a traditional seaside resort and one of Britain's most famous Victorian health resorts from the days when Queen Victoria frequented Osborne House and she appreciated the local micro- climate. There is a charming harbour and traditional bandstand and the local fishery that sells fabulous crab. There are great walks along Wheelers Bay and Bonchurch along the sea wall and the gorgeous Cascade Gardens running down the side of the cliff. While the Victorian Ventnor Park won ‘Best Park of the Year Award' in 2014 where you can enjoy the 22-acre Botanic garden sub-tropical paradise.The town has a number of sporting clubs including cricket, rugby, football, angling and bowling as well as a riding school and a golf course. There is a selection of schools in the vicinity with the St Boniface primary being graded as Outstanding by Ofsted.
