Features and description

Located on the periphery of the unspoilt traditional village of Hartland is this beautifully presented 4 Bedroom detached house. This property offers generous accommodation across two floors which includes a stunning Kitchen / Diner that opens to the rear garden, an attractive Lounge with log burning stove and 4 generous Bedrooms with the main Bedroom having a terrific contemporary Shower Room. There is also a 4-piece family Bathroom, a useful Utility Room, a Ground Floor Cloakroom and an Integral Garage as well a Home Office / Treatment Room. There are gardens to the front and rear of the property as well as a private brick-paved driveway. This house has kerb appeal aplenty and you will feel the wow factor as soon as you step into the Entrance Hall. Available for sale with no onward chain and filling a sizeable gap in the market, an early viewing is a must.

Hartland is a pleasant village described as ‘the most welcoming community’ in North Devon. This has nothing to do with its ancient and fabled history of local cannibalism, it’s just a lovely place to live and visit.

The village itself has quite a few useful shops, pubs and churches and a primary school too. The highlights of the larger area of Hartland includes the dramatic Hartland Quay with its craggy black rocks and friendly hotel. The South West Coast path takes in Hartland Point and Speke’s Mill Mouth. There’s the lighthouse, Hartland Abbey and an iconic radar station in the area too, so it’s quite a spot to explore. It’s rural Devon at its very best.

Hartland is within short driving distance of the Atlantic Highway (A39) that is the main feeder route across the region leading to Wadebridge in Cornwall to the south-west and to the M5 by Tiverton in the east. A bus service provides access to North Devon’s ‘capital’, Barnstaple. Bus users can also reach Westward Ho!, Bideford, Braunton, Appledore, Croyde and Ilfracombe with ease.

Directions
From Bideford Quay proceed towards Northam turning left onto the A39 North Devon Link Road signposted Bude. After approximately 10 miles and upon reaching Clovelly Cross roundabout, continue straight on and take the next right hand turning signposted Hartland. After approximately 1.5 miles, take the left hand turning into Harton Way and immediately turn right into Goaman Park to where number 15 will be situated the first property on your left hand side clearly displaying a numberplate.
