Conditions of entry
1. This prize draw (the “Promotion”) is only open to employees of Connells Limited who are resident in the United Kingdom, excluding employees and agents of (a) the Promoter (OnTheMarket and the CoStar Group of companies) or (b) any company connected with the production or distribution of this Promotion, as well as their relatives or members of their family or household or (c) Gascoigne Hallman, Rook Matthews Sayer, Peter Alan Auctions and Urban Spaces. The Promoter’s decision is final in respect of eligibility of participants.
2. Entrants must be aged 18 years or over at the time of entry. Proof of eligibility must be provided upon request. By entering the Promotion, entrants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions.
3. The Promotion is free to enter. Entrants can enter by posting a photo or video of their doughnut delivery to their company social media account (LinkedIn or Facebook) using the hashtag #WeListAtOnTheMarket and tagging the OnTheMarket account (the “Post”). Entrants must include the name of their brand and branch in the Post. One entry per estate agency branch will be accepted per social media channel (LinkedIn or Facebook). The following brands are excluded from entering via Facebook: John D Wood, Hamptons and Sharman Quinney (“Brands”). Any entries made via Facebook from these Brands will not be counted and will not be entered into the prize draw.
4. This Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with LinkedIn or Meta. By entering, entrants release LinkedIn and Meta from any liability in connection with this Promotion.
5. The Promotion will start on 10 March 2026 at 00:01am and close at 11:59pm on 22 March 2026. Only posts made within this period will be entered into the Promotion.
Winner
6. There will be 100 winning Connells Group branches. The prize draw will take place after the closing date of the Promotion, during the week commencing 23 March 2026. Winners will be selected at random from all eligible entries and notified by the Promoter via the social media account used to enter no later than 31 March 2026. Winners will be given details of how to accept their prize. Failure by a winner (selected randomly in a draw) to accept the prize in the manner specified within one week of the Promoter’s message will result in the prize being forfeited and an alternative winner being selected at random from the remaining eligible entries.
7. Prize: Each winning Connells Group branch will receive one £250 M&S gift card.
8. Prizes, and other promotional items are not transferable, may not be re-sold and are subject to availability. The Promoter reserves the right in its reasonable discretion to substitute any such prize, or item with a prize, or item of equal value.
9. The name of prize winners will be available after 1st April 2026 by submitting a written request to the Promoter.
10. Entrants agree to provide reasonable cooperation to allow the Promoter to use the name, likeness and submitted materials of the winner for advertising and publicity purposes in connection with this Promotion. In addition, by submitting an entry and in consideration of the Promoter granting a right to enter the Promotion, entrants grant the Promoter a perpetual, royalty-free, non-exclusive, sub-licensable licence to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute and exercise all copyright and publicity rights in any materials submitted as part of the entry (including text, images or video materials) worldwide, in any media now known or later developed, for the full term of any rights that may exist in such materials.
By submitting materials, each entrant:
a. warrants that the materials are its own original work, that they have the right to make them available for all the purposes specified above, that they do not breach any law, are not obscene or defamatory and do not infringe the rights of any third party;
b.agrees to indemnify the Promoter against all legal fees, damages and other expenses that may be incurred as a result of a breach of this warranty; and
c. waives any moral rights in the materials for the purposes set out herein.
General
11. The Promoter’s decision shall be final, and no promotional correspondence will be entered into. The Promoter reserves the right, in its reasonable discretion, to disqualify any entrant whose conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of the Promotion or is in violation of these terms.
12. No entries will be accepted in bulk, from agents, developers or third parties.
13. To the fullest extent permitted by law, and subject to clause 14, the Promoter excludes all warranties, representations and liabilities relating to this Promotion and any prize.
14. Nothing in these terms and conditions shall exclude the Promoter’s liability for (a) death or personal injury caused by its negligence, (b) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or (c) any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
15. The Promoter reserves the right to modify, suspend or cancel the Promotion if events beyond its reasonable control compromise the administration, security, or fairness of the Promotion.
16. If any provision of these terms and conditions is held to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be severed, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
17. These terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
