There is a secure metal shed at the front with space for at least two bicycles leaving room to store wood. The property’s garden also contains a shed (with electricity supply) and a separate wood store. There was originally a downstairs loo in the larder area to the right of the front door. This now operates as a utility room.
The property is 10 or 15 minutes’ walk from Denmark Hill station, 15/20 from Elephant and Castle and Vauxhall, and is extremely well served by busses. Two bus routes pass the house itself, and it is 5minutes walk to Walworth Road which has great bus connections to most of London. It is possible to cycle to work in Central London and that can be done in 15 to 25 minutes – depending on speed of cycling.
In terms of green space, this road runs through the middle of Burgess Park, which is 2 mins walk away.
