Eye-catching estuary/beach facing cottage

Description

A premium, picture perfect beach/estuary facing c.1850's Welsh stone cottage. Modernised whilst respecting its heritage. Open fires, electric Aga, Superfast wifi.

The space
Gothic Villa is a pretty cottage, full of character. It has been sympathetically restored, whilst maintaining its historical charms. The upstairs sitting room allows you to admire the sea and estuary views as far away as Caldey Island in Pembrokeshire. There is an open fire in the sitting room and a wood burning stove in the downstairs parlour, as well as central heating and instant hot water.

The garden is to the front of the house, and is relatively private. The garden has been designed along the lines of a traditional cottage garden. The garden is west facing, and something of a suntrap. The castle at Llansteffan is directly opposite the house across the estuary. There is ample private parking and a garage across the road.

The river Towy provides an ever changing backdrop. Pick up a pair of binoculars and lose yourself in the varied bird life of the estuary. Or take a trip on the new ferry to Llansteffan.

The second bathroom and utility room are accessed via an external porch. The utility room is also equipped with a bath and shower.

Other things to note
The cottage is west facing and offers fabulous views and sunsets across the estuary to the picture postcard village of Llansteffan and its pastel coloured seafront cottages, with its imposing castle perched above the estuary. An unobtrusive train line passes in front of the house beyond the road and long front garden.

Mobile signal predictions are provided by the four UK mobile network operators: EE, O2, Three and Vodafone. Predictions can vary significantly from the coverage you may actually experience as a result of local factors (especially terrain). Ofcom has tested the actual coverage provided in various locations around the UK to help ensure that these predictions are reasonable. The values shown against a property can be broken down as follows:

Clear: No bars, no signal predicted
Red: One bar, reliable signal unlikely
Amber: Two bars, may experience problems with connectivity
Green: Three bars, likely to have good coverage and receive a data rate to support basic web services
Enhanced: Full bars, likely to have good coverage indoors and to receive an enhanced data rate to support multimedia services
