What the Owner Says We have lived in this house since just after it was built in 2010. We immediately fell in love with the house, it felt welcoming and surprisingly secluded. The location was perfect for us being so close to the high street and the shops and restaurants. Set behind the high street it is very private with many people not actually realising the house is where it is, which we quite like.
The Facts This property is one of those properties that has been built with space and comfort at the forefront of the design. The location is absolutely ideal for Maldon high street and is surprisingly private, blink and you would miss it. The house is a chalet style one and half storey property with very well proportioned rooms. On the ground floor you enter into a very sizeable hallway with a turning staircase in front of you and a large living room and dining area which creates a fabulous entertaining space. The kitchen also has space to create a breakfast room as well, upstairs there are two double bedrooms with plenty of eaves storage and light flooding through the Velux windows. A very well appointed family bathroom sits to the middle of the landing.
The outside space for a town centre property is ample with a south facing formal garden that is laid to patio and lawn with a private feel with fencing and a brick wall giving some seclusion. The driveway provides ample parking for a number of smart, saloon and hatchbacks. See agent's notes for access.
Setting & Location This fabulous property is situated just to the rear side of the Maldon High Street and accessed via Butt Lane. The property is suitably hidden behind the Rose and Crown pub and Mitchells Jewellers that are on the high street. A perfect location for people wanting everything on their doorstep. Maldon High Street has a wide range of local shops, boutiques, restaurants, banks and other amenities. With a slightly further walk you can access the main supermarkets and commercial hubs of the town, the river frontage is an easy downhill walk to enjoy the river walks, might be slightly harder on the walk home. Maldon offers a good range of Primary schools along with the Plume Academy secondary school within easy reach.

Broadband availability and predicted speed
Broadband speed is measured in megabits per second, with the number returned showing how fast the connection is. Each reading is based on the highest predicted speed of any major broadband network for services that deliver the download speeds. The following are the different readings that we may display:
Basic: Up to 30 Mbit/s
Super-fast: Between 30 Mbit/s and 300 Mbit/s
Ultra-fast: Over 300 Mbit/s
The data is updated three times a year. The checker results are predictions and should not be regarded as guaranteed. For more information, see: https://checker.ofcom.org.uk/en-gb/about-checker#Answer_0_2
Mobile phone signal availability and predicted strength
Mobile signal predictions are provided by the four UK mobile network operators: EE, O2, Three and Vodafone. Predictions can vary significantly from the coverage you may actually experience as a result of local factors (especially terrain). Ofcom has tested the actual coverage provided in various locations around the UK to help ensure that these predictions are reasonable. The values shown against a property can be broken down as follows:
Clear: No bars, no signal predicted
Red: One bar, reliable signal unlikely
Amber: Two bars, may experience problems with connectivity
Green: Three bars, likely to have good coverage and receive a data rate to support basic web services
Enhanced: Full bars, likely to have good coverage indoors and to receive an enhanced data rate to support multimedia services
Energy Performance data and Internal floor area
