Were selling our 2 bed flat on the corner of Geoffrey Road/Manor Avenue (5 min walk from Brockley station). Its a sad departure as weve loved living in this property for over two and a half years (and in SE4 for over 8) but weve decided to move to the South-West to accommodate our growing family.

We chose this flat because of how much more space we got for our money, the flow of the rooms (the bedrooms are completely cut off from the lounge/kitchen by a long hallway), the outside space in the form of a perfectly-sized balcony (where weve been growing veg and herbs during lockdown), and the low maintenance look and feel of it.

Were part of a small purpose-built block of 9 flats, surrounded by Victorian terraces, many of whom have been living in our block for decades. Everyone is really lovely and looks out for each other, which has been a source of comfort this last year, particularly with many of us working from home. Brockley itself is renowned in south-east London for its leafy, community vibe and there are plenty of parks, restaurants, bars and independent shops within a 15 minute walk radius. Our favourites include Hilly Fields, Saka Maka, Brockley Market, Joyce Wine Bar and The Talbot, but it is the kind of place where you will discover your own!
