* Vendors comments * " It’s hard to believe, but we have spent ten years here in our sunny flat on leafy Comber Grove. Having moved here from the US, we wanted to live centrally, to feel like we were truly in the hustle and bustle of London. We were first-time buyers and thus didn’t have unlimited options, but this flat provided us the location and space we desired. We chose it because of the pair of the inviting floor to ceiling windows in the living room, overlooking the green courtyard and little willow tree, which has grown over the years. The large kitchen was an added bonus, which we are only now appreciating all the more – in all the houses we have looked to buy, we cannot find a kitchen to match it in size. Also, the walk-in wardrobe has been an added luxury. It was made all more homey once we renovated, including full refurbishment of the kitchen and the bathroom.
When we moved, we knew no one, and knew nothing of the area, but once we began to meet others living in the block – easily done as everyone was so friendly – we soon settled down and got to know more of our neighbours than we ever had at our old home. We run errands for each other, watch after each other’s plants and flowers during holidays, and exchange pleasantries on the stairs…not bad for London.
Camberwell Green is five minutes away with its shops, pubs, and ever-improving restaurant scene. Things we can recommend: Theo’s Pizza, The Nunhead Gardener, and Falafel & Shawarma. If you can’t find it at Camberwell Green, then a walk up Walworth Road will provide you with a myriad of shops to choose from. Burgess Park is just over the road, and the adorably pretty Myatt’s Fields Park is a stone’s throw away.
We will certainly miss our close proximity to the West End and the City of London, with the numerous and convenient transport links. A dozen buses run up Camberwell and Camberwell New Roads, carrying you to central locations or taking you to Vauxhall, Elephant and Castle, Blackfriars, and Victoria tube and rail hubs. Oval tube station is a ten minute walk. Whilst we have off-street car parking, we have cycled our entire time here, making use of the cycle highways over the Vauxhall and Blackfriars bridges. The handy provision of the bicycle lockers on site have made this possible.
Work demands mean that we are moving south, outside of London. We will most certainly miss the energy and vibe of our house and neighbourhood".

Broadband availability and predicted speed
Broadband speed is measured in megabits per second, with the number returned showing how fast the connection is. Each reading is based on the highest predicted speed of any major broadband network for services that deliver the download speeds. The following are the different readings that we may display:
Basic: Up to 30 Mbit/s
Super-fast: Between 30 Mbit/s and 300 Mbit/s
Ultra-fast: Over 300 Mbit/s
The data is updated three times a year. The checker results are predictions and should not be regarded as guaranteed. For more information, see: https://checker.ofcom.org.uk/en-gb/about-checker#Answer_0_2
Mobile phone signal availability and predicted strength
Mobile signal predictions are provided by the four UK mobile network operators: EE, O2, Three and Vodafone. Predictions can vary significantly from the coverage you may actually experience as a result of local factors (especially terrain). Ofcom has tested the actual coverage provided in various locations around the UK to help ensure that these predictions are reasonable. The values shown against a property can be broken down as follows:
Clear: No bars, no signal predicted
Red: One bar, reliable signal unlikely
Amber: Two bars, may experience problems with connectivity
Green: Three bars, likely to have good coverage and receive a data rate to support basic web services
Enhanced: Full bars, likely to have good coverage indoors and to receive an enhanced data rate to support multimedia services
