1 Fisher Street is a well-proportioned two bedroom home, well positioned for the shops and other amenities of the town and also convenient for the schools. It is in general
need of re-decoration and modernisation. Recently we dealt with the sale of a house of identical design at 21 Castledykes Road and the virtual tour of that property gives an idea
of the potential for 1 Fisher Street:
The virtual tour for 1 Fisher Street can be viewed at:
Kirkcudbright is an attractive harbour town situated on the banks of the River Dee. The town itself is of historic and architectural interest with its ancient High Street, Tollbooth Arts Centre, Stewart Museum and numerous galleries. Long frequented by artists, Kirkcudbright was home to the renowned artist, EA Hornell, one of the “Glasgow Boys”.

This tradition is maintained today by a flourishing colony of painters and craft workers which has led to Kirkcudbright being named the “Artists’ Town”.  Kirkcudbright enjoys a wide variety of mainly family owned shops, pubs, hotels and restaurants, whilst offering a wide range of facilities, including its own golf course, marina, swimming pool and an active summer festivities programme, including its own Jazz Festival and Tattoo.

Outside
The garden has been set out for ease of maintenance. To the front a paved path leads to the front door and continues to either side along the front of the house. The remainder
of the front is surrounded by a privet hedge and has gravel and chipped bark for ease of maintenance. The paved path continues down the side of the house passed the back door to the rear garden and the remainder of the side and most of the rear is surfaced with gravel for ease of maintenance. It is thought there would be sufficient space to the front and/or side of the house to form off road parking if desired.

Services
The agents assume that the subjects are served by mains water, mains electricity, and mains drainage but no guarantee can be given at this stage. It is understood that other
houses nearby are connected to mains gas.

    Broadband availability and predicted speed

Broadband speed is measured in megabits per second, with the number returned showing how fast the connection is. Each reading is based on the highest predicted speed of any major broadband network for services that deliver the download speeds. The following are the different readings that we may display:

    Basic: Up to 30 Mbit/s
    Super-fast: Between 30 Mbit/s and 300 Mbit/s
    Ultra-fast: Over 300 Mbit/s

The data is updated three times a year. The checker results are predictions and should not be regarded as guaranteed. For more information, see: https://checker.ofcom.org.uk/en-gb/about-checker#Answer_0_2

Mobile phone signal availability and predicted strength

Mobile signal predictions are provided by the four UK mobile network operators: EE, O2, Three and Vodafone. Predictions can vary significantly from the coverage you may actually experience as a result of local factors (especially terrain). Ofcom has tested the actual coverage provided in various locations around the UK to help ensure that these predictions are reasonable. The values shown against a property can be broken down as follows:

Clear: No bars, no signal predicted
Red: One bar, reliable signal unlikely
Amber: Two bars, may experience problems with connectivity
Green: Three bars, likely to have good coverage and receive a data rate to support basic web services
Enhanced: Full bars, likely to have good coverage indoors and to receive an enhanced data rate to support multimedia services
