3 bedroom bungalow
Key information
Property description & features
- Tenure: Freehold
Tucked away a short walk from the centre of the hugely popular market town of Bridport, Innisfree is a most attractive post war dormer bungalow constructed of red brick under a pitched slate roof. First glimpses are most impressive with its pretty front garden and elevated position set well back from the road.
On first entering the property there is a real sense of charm and space with a large porch and hallway, both with very pretty wooden flooring.
The property is very well presented and has been well maintained and lovingly looked after over the years but it is totally untainted by inappropriate modernisation. This leaves ample room for any new owner to put their own touch on the property and create the family home of their dreams.
There are many rooms in the house worth mentioning, including the large sitting room with wooden flooring and a woodburner style gas fire. The dining room is also a lovely room with large windows to one side and a very pretty fireplace, and again with a woodburning stove. Alongside this is a very functional galley kitchen incorporating a 5-ring gas hob and a breakfast bar. Adjacent to the kitchen is a separate utility room which is also a good size.
There are two large bedrooms on the ground floor and a shower room and separate cloakroom.
On the first floor is a truly lovely bedroom with an en suite shower room and incredible views out over Bridport and the countryside beyond.
The real surprise however is the beautiful and very well nurtured garden surrounding the house, with a fantastic paved terrace ideal for al fresco dining and a large lawned area, two wooden sheds, an open car port with plenty of off street parking.
All in all, this is an exceptional primary or secondary home in a very enviable location.

A choice of supermarkets is available in or around the town including Waitrose and Morrison's. There is a cottage hospital, a large medical centre, a popular leisure centre, a successful Arts Centre and a number of independent festivals involving the arts are held throughout the year. Much of the countryside is designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty where strict planning controls apply to preserve its special character. West Bay is a popular small seaside resort with harbour, shops, restaurants and attractive beach. A further wider range of amenities, including a mainline railway station to London Waterloo can be found at the County Town of Dorchester.

Basic: Up to 30 Mbit/s
Super-fast: Between 30 Mbit/s and 300 Mbit/s
Ultra-fast: Over 300 Mbit/s
The data is updated three times a year. The checker results are predictions and should not be regarded as guaranteed. For more information, see: https://checker.ofcom.org.uk/en-gb/about-checker#Answer_0_2
Mobile phone signal availability and predicted strength
Mobile signal predictions are provided by the four UK mobile network operators: EE, O2, Three and Vodafone. Predictions can vary significantly from the coverage you may actually experience as a result of local factors (especially terrain). Ofcom has tested the actual coverage provided in various locations around the UK to help ensure that these predictions are reasonable. The values shown against a property can be broken down as follows:
Clear: No bars, no signal predicted
Red: One bar, reliable signal unlikely
Amber: Two bars, may experience problems with connectivity
Green: Three bars, likely to have good coverage and receive a data rate to support basic web services
Enhanced: Full bars, likely to have good coverage indoors and to receive an enhanced data rate to support multimedia services
