Property description & features

Travelling down Lewisham Way, a busy thoroughfare in South East London, but once a grandiose manor with rolling meadows and a railway line destined to the Kent coast.

Throughout it's 150 year history, the borough of Lewisham, & New Cross town was notoriously for the working classes, as the housing was cheaper, the advent of the train enabled city workers to travel into the city at a pinch of the time.

Maria's Court, just at the bottom of the first cleft off the hill, is a wide Victorian building converted into three two bedroom, two bathroom flats ready to move in.

Across ground, first and second floors, the signature ground floor flat has a large south-west facing terrace great for a sociable dinner or evening vino.

An Open-plan kitchen-reception with integrated appliances and fresh worktops.
Two double bedrooms, each with a separate bathroom with showers complete the property. A big hallway storage cupboard provides space for bulky items.

Onto the first floor, this apartment has Moroccan finishes, good sized bedrooms and a bright view over the surrounding urban landscape. Storage aplenty provided by tall cupboards in the bedrooms and reception. Both bathrooms are finished in a neutral tiling.

Top floor, eek'ed out into the eaves, you get the flavour of the Victorian building with beams, ceiling height and light. Again, great double bedrooms, well finished bathrooms and a substantial open-plan reception.

Lewisham Way or wider New Cross, despite the congested nature of the road, it has a great scene for pubs, restaurants and live music.

Local classic, The Amersham Arms is a great live music venue and general place to meet and eat. The Rose Pub & Kitchen has a great restaurant and is the signature gastropub for the locale. Personal favourite restaurants are Aloosh, a cracking Lebanese & Paranhodu Korean Restaurant, just around the corner.

To get to the city, New Cross Gate or New Cross overground both are a 10 minute walk and only a few stops to London Bridge station, or two stops to Canada Water linking up to the Jubilee Line which connects straight to Canary Wharf. Alternatively, an array of 24hr buses pass right past your front door taking you straight to the City or wider Southeast.

    Basic: Up to 30 Mbit/s
    Super-fast: Between 30 Mbit/s and 300 Mbit/s
    Ultra-fast: Over 300 Mbit/s

The data is updated three times a year. The checker results are predictions and should not be regarded as guaranteed. For more information, see: https://checker.ofcom.org.uk/en-gb/about-checker#Answer_0_2

Mobile signal predictions are provided by the four UK mobile network operators: EE, O2, Three and Vodafone. Predictions can vary significantly from the coverage you may actually experience as a result of local factors (especially terrain). Ofcom has tested the actual coverage provided in various locations around the UK to help ensure that these predictions are reasonable. The values shown against a property can be broken down as follows:

Clear: No bars, no signal predicted
Red: One bar, reliable signal unlikely
Amber: Two bars, may experience problems with connectivity
Green: Three bars, likely to have good coverage and receive a data rate to support basic web services
