" We love living in our maisonette. I like being 2 minutes away from the high street so I can always run out and get last minute ingedients for cooking and only 4 minutes away from the station. You can find yourself in central London in around 20mins or if you like going to the park, Grangewood park is less than 5mins walk away which has a nice play area with swings.
Our flat is bright and airy, we get a lovely breeze running though the hallway in the summer and oodles of sunshine pour in through the windows. This has been blissful for the days that I have had to work from home on a hot day.
We are the first ever people to live here as it was newly built 2 years ago and everything in the flat is new.
We installed built-in wooden wardrobes in both bedrooms which are both under guarantee for the next 8 years and all of our wooden blinds have been custom made to suit every room. There is plenty of space in both bedrooms and you will also have access to the loft. I put in brand new thick insulation into the loft and we have saved loads on our heating bills through the winter.
There are two mirrored cabinets in the bathroom because you can never have enough beauty products and there is also a newly built, wooden, built-in cupboard in the living room for all of your files and books.
All carpet and painting has been done in the last 2 years and we have sole access to the main front door as well as a drive way at the back of the property. I like seeing my car from my bedroom window, next door to a friendly local mechanic which comes in handy now and again! There is also a small grass patch near the drive, you can add a shed here if you have bikes or want even more storage.
We live opposite an outstanding nursery and down the road from an old peoples housing development, so there is always a good mix of friendly people around. I have really enjoyed living in such a quiet space and we could live happily in our home for a long time but we are selling as we have seen a good opportunity on the market".
