CHARGES & PROCEDURES

If your rent remains unpaid for seven days a first reminder will be sent.

If your rent remains unpaid for fourteen days a second reminder will be sent.

Further reminders may follow at the same seven day intervals thereafter.

If the rent is late beyond 14 days we reserve the right to charge 3% over the Bank of England Base Rate for each subsequent day that the rent falls due and until the arrears are paid.

REPLACEMENT KEYS

If during the term of your tenancy you lose or damage beyond use any key(s) and/or fob(s) the following charges will apply for replacements and locks if necessary:

a) Yale key - £5.50 inc VAT per item.

b) UPVC door key - £5.50 inc VAT per item.

c) Mortice key - £7.50 inc VAT per item.

d) Security key - £15 - £60 inc VAT per item, dependent on type and manufacturer's costs.

e) Fob/electronic key - £15 - £60 inc VAT per item, dependent on type and manufacturer's costs.

f) New Lock: Yale £60 inc VAT per item, Mortice £45.00 inc VAT per item.

g) An additional fee will be incurred if the work is undertaken outside of normal office hours.

In the event that a member of the company undertakes to have the key(s) cut a charge of £15 per hour will be levied for the work. A receipt(s) for cutting of keys can be provided upon request.

VARIATION OF CONTRACT

If you request a change to your tenancy agreement, for example a change of sharer a charge of £50 inc VAT will be applied however, we are entitled to charge for the reasonable costs involved in amending the tenancy agreement and if that cost exceeds £50 inc VAT we will charge this amount. Any costs incurred, over and above the £50 inc VAT, can be evidenced upon request.
