A classic listed cottage in a superb village position
Boxford is a picturesque and popular village situated near the market towns of Newbury and Hungerford and also convenient for Marlborough, Oxford, and Reading. The village has a pleasant country pub, with a range of shops in the surrounding villages and a good primary school in the neighbouring village of Stockcross. There is a choice of state schools, public and
private schools in the area. The village has excellent transport links.
Honeysuckle Cottage is a fine example of a classic English
cottage, situated in the sought after village of Boxford. The
accommodation is very well laid out with the principal reception rooms all leading from a spacious entrance hall. The cottage has been sympathetically extended with the addition of an impressive vaulted kitchen/dining room. Upstairs there are two en suite bedrooms and two further guest bedrooms. To the rear, a sunken terrace retained by brick walls links the garden with the living space of the house, and rises to a well-maintained lawned garden with mixed borders, mature trees and specimen plantings, providing a private setting to relax and entertain. There is also planning permission passed to convert the garage into annexe accommodation. Planning ref: 17/02132/ HOUSE 17/02133/LBC2.
