Long Ridge is situated on the edge of Whiteleaf village with its public house (The Red Lion) and golf club within the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Beauty, the area has many countryside walks and bridle ways, yet is close to the M40 motorway (J4 and J5) for access to London and the M25 and M4 motorways. Exit the M40 motorway and follow the signs for Aylesbury (A4010). Continue across 3 mini roundabouts, keeping on the A4010. At the T-junction, turn left onto the West Wycombe Road and at the ensuing roundabout take the right turn, the Bradenham Road, towards Aylesbury. Continue through the village of Saunderton and at Princes Risborough keep on the Aylesbury Road (A4010). Continue through Monks Risborough and take the third turning on the right into Peters Lane. At the top of the hill, take the left turn onto Upper Icknield Way, pass the Red Lion public house, and Golf Club Lane.
