"We bought the house last year as we saw such great potential in the property. Based in Lower Parkstone in a beautiful area and within the Baden Powel and Court hill school catchment area with Alexandra park being right on the backdoor step. It could become the perfect home for a couple or young family, it just needed some TLC. Whilst there was a lot of renovation to take on, we were confident that we could create a modern, energy efficient home with plenty of additional space to either extend further or even put in a studio apartment at the end of the garden.

We love the open plan kitchen/dining area, this is great for entertaining and we have enjoyed the benefit of an additional separate lounge room as well. I love character features and with the beautiful fireplaces in the bedrooms along with the modern anthracite radiators throughout, it really gives the feel of a modern home with character features that you only get from homes of this age. However, my favourite feature has to be the large separate shower with jets, we added this to the home and it makes a massive difference to have a separate bath and shower. Love that there is off road parking for up to two cars… so rare to find in Lower Parkstone.

I will miss the modern, fresh feel of the house, it has a great energy and it is fantastic for entertaining. Also, I love that EVERYTHING is new. New central heating, radiators, thermal boarding and plastering on every wall (it is such a warm house you barely need the heating on even in the winter)!. Great integrated kitchen features, brand new oven, extractor, integrated washing machine, integrated fridge freezer and brand new toilet suite downstairs and full bathroom suite upstairs."
