Why you’ll like it:

Set well back from the road behind a neat front garden, abundant with hydrangea in bloom, you walk up the drive to your porch. This provides the perfect space for shoes and coats, while a secondary door welcomes you in to the generous entrance hall. From here it is immediately clear this is a well-maintained and modern home as Amtico wood effect flooring flows directly into the exceptional kitchen extension ahead. First however, the main sitting room is to the right.

This is the perfect layout for families with children of all ages, as it allows two distinct entertaining spaces. While this is a sizable room, it also has a homely feel with a gas fire and plush carpet underfoot. A wide bay window looks out to the pretty front garden and the quiet road beyond it, so it is also tranquil, and perfect as an evening room to cosy up on comfortable sofas and chairs.

Spanning the rear of the house, the kitchen, dining and conservatory rooms are open plan, and are impressive from the moment you enter. They were opened up by the current owners who could appreciate the incredible amount of natural light which has been able to fill the space, and it really does feel like the heart of the home. There are defined areas for formal and informal dining – which can be moved within the conservatory area depending on the time of year. The master also enjoys use of an en suite with a double width walk-in shower, which has been fully tiled in natural stone tones. The family bathroom is similarly attractive, and is on-trend with brick tiling in shades of blue, a shower over the bath, and a contemporary conical basin set into a quartz wash stand.

The light is fantastic throughout the house, and while the neighbours are fantastic, you are not overlooked by them at all.
