The closest village facilities would be found in Marcham, Appleton or Wootton approximately three to four miles away. Oxford is approximately 10 minutes by car and this is a relatively popular location for access to the City. It is semi-rural and enjoyment of the woodland is quite a rare feature. The regular bus services into Oxford, Swindon and Wantage on both the A420 and the A338 are an attraction as may be the proximity to Frilford Heath Golf club a few hundred yards along the A338.
