Property description

Peace and tranquility are owned with this delightful end of terrace ragstone cottage. Situated in the village of Otham, this cottage is in a convenient area and in a private position just down a country lane.

The accommodation is spread across 3 levels and provides fine rural views from the majority of the windows. The conservatory to the front of the property is a very useful addition, providing an ideal space to take off those outdoor shoes before entering the modern and practical diner.

The real character of this cottage is seen when you enter the lounge, attractive wood flooring, log burner and sash windows all add to the appeal.

The two bedrooms on the 1st floor are complimented by a white bathroom suite, while the 2nd floor bedroom affords beautiful views to the rear and side and benefits from an en-suite shower room.

Double width parking to the front leads to a fabulous 25ft garage/workshop to the side and access to a wonderful rear garden.

What the Owner says:
The location of this home fulfilled our dream of living in the country; gorgeous walks right on our doorstep, waking up to bird song, fresh eggs from our own chickens, views across rolling hills dotted with sheep, muddy wellies and rosy cheeked children. Otham is a special place and our cottage has arguably the best position in the village, as the length of our property borders the grounds and fields of Stoneacre, the beautiful National Trust property. We could relax knowing our amazing views are protected.

Tucked up in front of the fire, you feel a million miles away from the hustle and bustle but can actually be on the motorway in just 7/8 minutes and at the train station which is just 5 minutes away.

We know the next owners will fall in love with this cottage the way we did, and the way of life that comes with it.
