Highly Individual, Architecturally Designed & Eco-Friendly (A-Rated) Detached House! An abundance of glass (triple glazed) taking in wonderful views and including 3/4 bedrooms, Solar PV Panels & being sold with no onward chain.
Rosemary’s is situated in an elevated position which takes in wonderful views back over the market town, across the parish church and onto Dartmoor in the distance. It is found on a no through road with just two neighbours beyond this house, yet benefits from pedestrian access to the town centre and all of its amenities.
The architecturally designed detached house has fantastic green credentials, it has been awarded an EPC “A rating” due to its triple glazing, under floor heating and 4 kilowatts of solar PV panels with feed-in tariff creating a quarterly income.
The accommodation is both individual and superbly presented. The double height atrium entrance is stunning and serves the living room with south facing windows, the kitchen breakfast room (with integrated four ring ceramic hob, Neff double oven, dishwasher fridge & freezer) with its attached utility room, plus the dining room which could be used as a ground floor 4th bedroom as it has an en-suite shower room (also accessible from the utility). Proceeding up the stairs, the galleried landing looks over the entrance atrium and its wall of glass beautifully. The master bedroom takes in the wonderful far reaching views and also benefits from an abundance of built-in wardrobes and an en-suite shower room. The two further bedrooms are both doubles (the 3rd is currently set up as a large study) and have built-in storage (access to a large boarded loft space with light). There is also a white suite family bathroom with shower & screen over the bath. Under the house is a massive garage (some 10.76m / 35' 4") long in total!) with workshop area beyond, electric door, power, water, plumbing & drainage all in place. The driveway measures 7.84m x 7.23m / 25' 9" x 23' 9" (average) providing off-road parking for two cars.
The gardens include a gravelled patio area with circular stone feature surrounding the house and giving access to the front door and living room are areas of timber decked terrace, partially bordered by marine stainless steel and glazed screens. The decked terrace areas are delightful for alfresco dining with outside lighting and steps down to the driveway and garage. There are shrub beds and the decked area extends to the rear of the house, where there is an outside light, outside tap and rain water storage. The garden areas are particularly private and there are different points at which to catch either the sun or shade as required.
