Hascombe Estate is offering a block of organic grassland in Surrey, extending to about 123ha (305 acres) on a grazing licence.
Hascombe Estate are committed to developing long term grazing programmes to enhance and develop the landscape and grassland habitats. The land is currently managed under an organic Countryside Stewardship Higher Tier and Mid-Tier agreement that expires on 31st December 2025. On expiry of the current agreements it is the intention of the Estate to enter the land into a Stewardship agreement with comparable management options.
Hascombe Estate are seeking the right farming business, or individuals, to work closely with them to graze and manage the land under these schemes. Collaboration with the Estate is a key element in this process.
Offers by informal tender are invited for grazing / mowing licences or the Estate would be interested in tenders for an alternative dynamic management agreement of the land. A Farm Business Tenancy will not be offered.
The holding is available as a whole or in up to three separate lots, however the preference is for the holding to be let as a whole.

GENERAL INFORMATION - The land is situated in three separate blocks near the village of Hascombe, GU8 4UD, approximately 3 miles south east of Godalming.
It has been farmed in-hand under a share farming agreement in recent years and is now being offered on a grazing licence.
APPLICATIONS - A tender pack is available on request. Tender applications must be made on the tender forms provided. Applications must be received by Dan Kendall by 12 noon on Friday 12th December. Applications can be submitted by post, hand delivered or emailed, providing a signed hard copy is received by the agent within seven days of an electronic copy.
GRAZING LICENCES - Grazing licences will be issued annually for the period 1st February to 31st December (to be confirmed)but with intent to create a long term grazing relationship with the right Applicant(s).
