This detached bungalow is incredibly spacious, with generous room proportions thoughtfully laid out to work well for families as well as offering the potential to create a self-contained annexe if required. It is such a light and bright home and the open plan living, with vaulted ceiling, is a wonderfully sociable space opening up to the covered terrace and gardens.
The entrance hall opens up with plenty of space for coats and boots, a cloakroom for guests and a study area, leading to the open plan kitchen/sitting/dining room which has a real “wow” factor for space. For feeling cosy in the winter, there is a woodburning stove and for the warmer months, bi-fold doors open onto a large, covered terrace with an outdoor kitchen area and views over the gardens. The kitchen has granite worksurfaces and a great larder cupboard for additional storage with an electric double oven and space for further appliances. There is also a conservatory as another living room, overlooking the garden so this home really does enjoy a feeling of bringing the outside in. With open plan living, the utility room is incredibly useful as a laundry room and boot room.
There are 5 double bedrooms with fitted wardrobes, the main bedroom having a triple aspect view of the gardens, walk-in wardrobe and an en-suite with a separate shower and bath. There is also a family bathroom and a Jack and Jill bathroom shared by bedrooms 2 and 3, both of which have showers over the baths.
The house is situated in a generous plot of approximately 1 acre (TBV) with the lawned gardens surrounding the property with a gated entrance and plenty of driveway parking. For those working from home, or maybe looking to have a home gym or a games room, there is a fantastic garden office which has power, light, internet and air-conditioning installed to keep cool in the summer and warm in the winter. There is an enclosed vegetable garden with raised beds, greenhouse and garden store and a separate chicken coop and enclosure and large timber garden store/workshop. There are paved patios adjacent to the conservatory and the bedrooms and the covered terrace has an outdoor kitchen area to make summer entertaining a breeze. A pretty ornamental pond is central in the garden with a variety of mature shrubs and trees featured around the garden with plenty of space for children to play or keen gardeners to create the garden of their dreams as it enjoys the sunshine all day and evening. There is gated driveway parking for at least 6 vehicles with the possibility of encroaching on the garden to happily create further parking if required.
We love the space on offer, especially with the sitting/dining room being 28’11 – such a wonderful home to entertain friends and family. Having the garden office is a perfect space to work from home but could also make a fantastic games room or home gym otherwise. We love the garden surrounding the property, so each room has a lovely view and in particular, the covered terrace allowing you to enjoy the garden no matter the weather. We think the location is great, with easy access onto the A21 and so many wonderful country walks on your doorstep.
There are excellent local secondary school options within both the state and independent sectors, including those in sought-after Kent Grammar system. The vibrant spa town of Tunbridge Wells is less than 5 miles away and has an excellent range of recreational and shopping facilities and a wide selection of well-regarded restaurants.

Ofcom has tested the actual coverage provided in various locations around the UK to help ensure that these predictions are reasonable. The values shown against a property can be broken down as follows:
Clear: No bars, no signal predicted
Red: One bar, reliable signal unlikely
Amber: Two bars, may experience problems with connectivity
Green: Three bars, likely to have good coverage and receive a data rate to support basic web services
Enhanced: Full bars, likely to have good coverage indoors and to receive an enhanced data rate to support multimedia services
