Property description & features

"Our lovely flat is situated in a beautiful property, just off Gloucester Road and within easy walking distance of Whiteladies Road, the Harbourside, Stokes Croft and Clifton Downs. When we moved back into the flat last year, we wondered why it felt like we were doing so much more with our time, and it was simply because there's so much happening nearby - great coffee and food spots, charity shops, greengrocers, a leisure centre, and a board game cafe (we highly recommend!), all just a few minutes away. It's a warm and characterful home, and with three sides of windows, it floods with natural light all year round. The views of Bristol out the far living room window are incredible, and we'll really miss the sunrise, or on the odd occasion the fireworks or hot air balloons across the horizon. It's time for us to upsize in the area, but we know this will be a wonderful home for the next owner!"

Cotham Brow is ideally situated between Cotham, Kingsdown and Redland. With beautiful grand Gothic buildings in amongst both Georgian Bath Stone and Victorian houses. There are many tree-lined roads, with parks and green spaces, perfect on summer days, such as the green at Redland Church or the University Gardens on St Michael's Hill. The area is highly convenient being placed in between several hugely popular parts of Bristol. To the north is Westbury Park and the green expanse of The Downs, a short walk up Redland Road. Up the road there are a number of independent shops and cafes, Cotham Hill and further to the larger establishments of Whiteladies Road and Clifton. The local pubs include Kingsdown Vaults, The Greenman and the delicious Bulrush. Over to St Michael's Hill is Beerd, a highly regarded restaurant and Highbury Vaults with real ales and great food. To the south is Bristol City Centre, around a 15/20 minute walk or a short cycle. Just a few minutes down the hill to the east is Cheltenham and Gloucester Road, running through the popular areas of St Andrews, Bishopston and down into Montpelier, lined with hugely popular bars, restaurants and shops. The area is very convenient into or out of Bristol, with Redland train station just around the corner and several bus routes running in the immediate area.

Perched within the charming top floor of this imposing period building is this bright top floor flat. The flat benefits from multiple double-glazed windows which boast a fantastic vantage points and views. The flat comprises of a lovely light and spacious living and dining area, ideal for spending the majority of your time, whilst the bedroom incorporates a couple of windows lifting the space with light and is placed at the end of the entrance hallway. The entrance hallway equally provides access to the kitchen and bathroom which are placed on the left side of the apartment. The flat boasts some lovely character features with the exposed beams, compared to most modern flats of this day and age.
