land classification grades consisting of grades 4:1 and 4:2 as indicated by the land capability plans of the Hutton institute.
According to the Soil Survey of Scotland the land at Chapelhouse is classified as being part of the Darleith Association, which are described as Brown Soils that can support arable grassland and rough grazing.
Historically this land has been used for mowing and grazing. The grazing is currently let on an informal basis.
The Land is situated approximately 1 mile North of the village of Dunlop in the delightful rolling landscape of East Ayrshire.
