Dorchester is the county town of Dorset, situated between Poole and Bridport on the A35 trunk route. The historic market town of
Dorchester is on the banks of the River Frome to the south of the Dorset Downs and north of the South Dorset Ridgeway that separates the
area from Weymouth, approximately 7 miles (11 km) to the south.
Brewery Square is a vibrant and stylish regeneration in the heart of Dorchester which currently boasts a variety of shops, eateries and leisure facilities including; Nando's, Carluccio's, Zizzi, Hobbs, Phase Eight, a Premier Inn Hotel, Anytime Fitness and an Odeon Cinema. As well as the well known brands of shops, eateries and leisure facilities, Brewery Square is also home to various independent businesses.
Founded by Charles and Sarah Eldridge in 1833, the company built the Green Dragon Brewery in Dorchester in 1837. In 1879 two of John Allen Pope’s sons, Alfred and Edwin, commissioned influential architect, W.R. Crickmay to design the impressive red brick Dorchester Brewery in Weymouth Avenue. With its own water supply and access to the adjoining south coast railway line, built by Isambard Kingdom Brunel. By the end of the 19th Century the company owned 97 freehold pubs from London to Exeter. The company became the wine supplier to Queen Victoria and was one of the first to be awarded the Royal Warrant. When Eldridge Pope sold the site in 2002 the company was still managed by Christopher Pope, one of the great great-grandsons of John Pope.
The brewery is the jewel in the crown, Dorchester's most iconic building, lovingly restored to its former glory now consisting of 29 1, 2 and 3 bedroom warehouse apartments all with private parking.
Converted by the multi-award winning developers, Juno Developments, the brewery apartments have been designed to suit modern living whilst retaining an abundance of the unique, original, architectural features of the original building including cast iron columns, exposed brickwork expansive windows and imposing riveted steel beams. Each home has its own bespoke layout and personal features that truly make them one of a kind.

Broadband availability and predicted speed
Broadband speed is measured in megabits per second, with the number returned showing how fast the connection is. Each reading is based on the highest predicted speed of any major broadband network for services that deliver the download speeds. The following are the different readings that we may display:
Basic: Up to 30 Mbit/s
Super-fast: Between 30 Mbit/s and 300 Mbit/s
Ultra-fast: Over 300 Mbit/s
The data is updated three times a year. The checker results are predictions and should not be regarded as guaranteed. For more information, see: https://checker.ofcom.org.uk/en-gb/about-checker#Answer_0_2
Mobile phone signal availability and predicted strength
Mobile signal predictions are provided by the four UK mobile network operators: EE, O2, Three and Vodafone. Predictions can vary significantly from the coverage you may actually experience as a result of local factors (especially terrain). Ofcom has tested the actual coverage provided in various locations around the UK to help ensure that these predictions are reasonable. The values shown against a property can be broken down as follows:
Clear: No bars, no signal predicted
Red: One bar, reliable signal unlikely
Amber: Two bars, may experience problems with connectivity
Green: Three bars, likely to have good coverage and receive a data rate to support basic web services
Enhanced: Full bars, likely to have good coverage indoors and to receive an enhanced data rate to support multimedia services
Energy Performance data and Internal floor area
