The principal rooms overlook the courtyard with large bespoke arched windows and French doors providing an abundance of natural light and creating a Roman villa style of living with total privacy and wonderfully proportioned rooms.
The interior accommodation extends to about 8300 sq ft and has a fine balance between formal rooms and comfortable family living space. The flow of rooms works exceptionally well and there are charming and unique features a t every turn. The quality of the oak joinery throughout is worthy of special note with substantial panelled doors, bookcases, windows, deep skirtings and architraves and the magnificent principal staircase. The quality of the wood is matched by the wealth of beautifully finished mellow stone to feature internal walls and fireplaces.

In addition to the use of 125 acres of communal parkland The Coach House has some areas of private garden as well as the courtyard. A lovely terrace below the garden room provides views over the valley below as well as to the surrounding hills. Along with the other properties at Swythamley Hall The Coach House has communal use of about 20 acres of carefully managed gardens and woodland, the helipad and hard tennis court as well as an inexhaustible supply of firewood. These rare amenities provide enchanting low maintenance grounds for easy living on a quite magnificent Country Estate.

Location

The Coach House lies amidst breathtakingly attractive countryside in the Peak National Park on the Cheshire / Staffordshire borders.
