This is the perfect property for first-time buyers just like we were, with the property located in a quiet, newly developed neighbourhood which has been lovely to live in. It feels safe making it family-friendly and the fact that it is far enough from the main road means much deeper sleep and peaceful days which is important to me.

We are conveniently placed near bus stops, Hackbridge rail station and Mitcham Junction’s tram services which give quick access to Wimbledon and East Croydon station. We have had the luxury of easy travel, great places to visit which included the local retail parks near Croydon and quick commutes to Wimbledon where we dine regularly and go to the Odeon cinema. There have been no shortages of places to visit while we have lived here.

We connect with nature at the local parks and spend most of our time at my favourite which is Beddington Park, located a short walk over the bridge from our property. It’s been wonderful feeding the ducks every Sunday morning which I find so therapeutic being in such picturesque surroundings. Beddington Park is vast, and tucked away beside it is a walking trail which also serves as a reservation for wildlife for Beddington Farmlands. As well as connecting with nature it has served as a brilliant exercising route and is great for bike rides. The park also has facilities such as outdoor tennis and basketball courts. I have really enjoyed my visits here but look forward to exploring new spaces.

We are very keen on supporting the local small businesses including independent cafes and coffee shops with our favourite being the "Moo & Bean". There are so many local eateries and we never have to travel too far for a good meal. There are some amazing pubs that also serve fantastic food locally 'The Grange' is one of the favourites amongst the locals. There are many “secret spots” located around the area such as the Honeywood Museum.

Within 2 minutes, you will also find the well-stocked local Lidl and a Sainsbury’s Local which has made grocery shopping a breeze. There is also a local GP and pharmacy, as well as, a gym that is a short saunter from the property. With access to all these local amenities, you will feel comfortable here in New Mill Quarter. 

The area has such charm; you’ll find yourself exploring and enjoying it for years to come, just like we have.”
