WHY SHOULD YOU VIEW?
This house has a lot to offer and is clearly a lovely place to live. The house has a welcoming feel and has been presented beautifully by the vendors. Situated towards the top of Bingham Road, the house is near playing fields and is only a stones throw from the bus stop providing regular access to & from Nottingham. Radcliffe-on-Trent is a hugely popular village with a thriving local community. There is a choice a good pubs and restaurants, some terrific local retailers and good schooling for all age groups. The village has very well-regarded sports clubs, and being situated by the river Trent, there are outstanding countryside walks and cycle routes. Oakfield itself is a popular modern development and properties here don’t come to market very frequently. We’re anticipating a lot of interest.
WHAT THE CURRENT OWNERS SAY...
We have really enjoyed living here for the past five and a half years. Oakfield has a great community feel and the neighbours always come together at Christmas. When we lost our heating temporarily, we were offered spare heaters, the use of showers/baths, and even the use of spare rooms for as long as we needed. Our neighbours are truly wonderful, and we are glad we are not moving too far away! The gates keep the road very private, and children can play safely outside with no passing traffic. We have always loved the unusual design of the house and the big room sizes. The big open plan kitchen means we can all be together, even if we are all doing different things. The very high build quality also means the house is warm all through winter and cool in summer, with triple glazing and excellent insulation, and this certainly helps with the utility bills. Oakfield – for us – has been the perfect location. With the playing fields to the side, only a five minute walk to the village and schools, and the bus to Nottingham just outside the gates.

OnTheMarket may have applied supplementary data to this property listing, including:
Broadband availability and predicted speed: obtained from Ofcom on January 18, 2022
Broadband speed is measured in megabits per second, with the number returned showing how fast the connection is. Each reading is based on the highest predicted speed of any major broadband network for services that deliver the download speeds. The following are the different readings that we may display:
Basic: Up to 30 Mbit/s
Super-fast: Between 30 Mbit/s and 300 Mbit/s
Ultra-fast: Over 300 Mbit/s
The data is updated three times a year. The checker results are predictions and should not be regarded as guaranteed. For more information, see: https://checker.ofcom.org.uk/en-gb/about-checker#Answer_0_2
Mobile phone signal availability and predicted strength: obtained from Ofcom on January 18, 2022
Mobile signal predictions are provided by the four UK mobile network operators: EE, O2, Three and Vodafone. Predictions can vary significantly from the coverage you may actually experience as a result of local factors (especially terrain). Ofcom has tested the actual coverage provided in various locations around the UK to help ensure that these predictions are reasonable. The values shown against a property can be broken down as follows:
Clear: No bars, no signal predicted
Red: One bar, reliable signal unlikely
Amber: Two bars, may experience problems with connectivity
Green: Three bars, likely to have good coverage and receive a data rate to support basic web services
Enhanced: Full bars, likely to have good coverage indoors and to receive an enhanced data rate to support multimedia services
Energy Performance data and Internal floor area: obtained on September 17, 2010 from The Energy Performance of Buildings (Certificates and Inspections) (England and Wales) Regulations 2007 or the Home Report if in relation to a residential property in Scotland.
