And there’s a dry-ski slope roughly 40 mins away in Llandudno. If you head out to Anglesey (about 30 minutes away) there is some great sand and surf at Llanddona and Benllech Beach.

The beautiful Snowdonia National Park is also on your doorstep and is a great place to hike and enjoy the breathtaking scenery.

Bangor train station is a short walk from Neuadd Y Castell, and Manchester Airport and Liverpool John Lennon have good connecting rail services to Bangor.
