Without a doubt, Llys Y Deon is an awesome location for students of Bangor University and the School of Computer Science or the School of Electronic Engineering. Living just minutes from campus really helps to take the stress out of rushing to lectures, and gives you more time to relax.

The city centre is only a short stroll away and has everything you need from large supermarkets such as Asda and Aldi to high street shops. There is also a huge range of bars and pubs.

If you’d like to try your hand at a new sport, Bangor has several outdoor pursuits’ centres, boating clubs, swimming pools, courts and pitches. And there’s a dry-ski slope roughly 40 mins away in Llandudno. If you head out to Anglesey (about 30 minutes away) there is some great sand and surf at Llanddona and Benllech Beach.
The beautiful Snowdonia National Park is also on your doorstep and is a great place to hike and enjoy the breathtaking scenery.

Bangor train station is a 10-minute walk from Llys Y Deon, and Manchester Airport and Liverpool John Lennon have good connecting rail services to Bangor. Cluster sizes vary from 4-6 beds.
