Location - The Wharf, Nuneaton

Nuneaton can trace its origins back to a 12th-century Benedictine nunnery known as 'Eaton', parts of which still survive, around which much of the town grew. In more recent times, Nuneaton became a centre for textiles and manufacturing leading up to the early part of the 20th century and a significant producer of munitions during the war years.

Today, Nuneaton is home to around 73,000 people and is a flourishing town with a host of retail and leisure facilities. It boasts two shopping centres, the Ropewalk and Abbeygate, which, between them, offer a great choice of major high street names and smaller, independent shops. There is a good choice of bars and cafes, ranging from traditional pubs to quaint tea rooms. Fitness fans are well catered for by the Nuneaton Academy Sports Centre, with its Olympic sports hall, 25-station health and fitness suit and a modern dance studio, and the Jubilee Sports Centre, which offers a range of both indoor and outdoor activities.

Nuneaton's Bermuda Park is a mixed leisure, business and industrial facility. Leisure facilities include a multiplex cinema, bowling alley, gym, a pub and a number of restaurants. North Warwickshire & Hinckley College's Innovation Centre is also located in Bermuda Park, and the rest of the development is dedicated to offices, warehouses and light industry, which provides a base for several high-profile national companies.

Thanks to its strategic location, Nuneaton offers convenient access to the M42 and M69 (via the A5). Nuneaton station provides fast rail links throughout the country, London is accessible in just one hour*. For international travel, East Midlands airport is approximately 30 miles away* and Birmingham International Airport is about 18 miles away*.

Broadband speed is measured in megabits per second, with the number returned showing how fast the connection is. Each reading is based on the highest predicted speed of any major broadband network for services that deliver the download speeds. The following are the different readings that we may display:

    Basic: Up to 30 Mbit/s
    Super-fast: Between 30 Mbit/s and 300 Mbit/s
    Ultra-fast: Over 300 Mbit/s

The data is updated three times a year. The checker results are predictions and should not be regarded as guaranteed. For more information, see: https://checker.ofcom.org.uk/en-gb/about-checker#Answer_0_2

Mobile phone signal availability and predicted strength

Mobile signal predictions are provided by the four UK mobile network operators: EE, O2, Three and Vodafone. Predictions can vary significantly from the coverage you may actually experience as a result of local factors (especially terrain). Ofcom has tested the actual coverage provided in various locations around the UK to help ensure that these predictions are reasonable. The values shown against a property can be broken down as follows:

Clear: No bars, no signal predicted
Red: One bar, reliable signal unlikely
Amber: Two bars, may experience problems with connectivity
Green: Three bars, likely to have good coverage and receive a data rate to support basic web services
Enhanced: Full bars, likely to have good coverage indoors and to receive an enhanced data rate to support multimedia services

Energy Performance data and Internal floor area
