Property description & features

  • Tenure: Freehold
An attractive semi-detached house in a quiet cul-de-sac location with garage and enclosed rear garden

Accommodation comprises; Hall, sitting room, dining room, kitchen, WC/utility, 3 bedrooms (one en-suite) and shower room.

Garage, parking and garden.

Church End was designed and built in 1994 by a well know local builder, Johnathan Rigg. Built to reflect the mellow red brick of the renovated Dumbleton Hall stables the property offers light and spacious accommodation notably the large and tastefully presented dual aspect sitting room, dining room with glazed doors opening into the garden and the well fitted kitchen with integrated appliances. There are 3 good sized bedrooms (one with en-suite bathroom), all with fitted wardrobes and a shower room with double width shower cubicle. The property is double glazed and enjoys oil fired central heating.

The rear garden has been hard landscaped for ease of maintenance with gravel and decorative paving. An attractive archway leads through to a timber octagonal summer house which compliments the well-stocked flower beds and a number of mature trees, shrubs and plants. Bounded by a handsome red brick wall and timber fencing the garden offers a high degree of privacy and security. There is gated access to the front with a pedestrian door to the garage.

In front is a driveway that leads to the Garage which has an automatic up and over door, light and power, central heating boiler and storage. There is a small rose garden set within a gravelled area which is bounded by iron railings.

Directions: From Broadway proceed along the B4632 towards Cheltenham. After about 2 miles take the right hand turn to Wormington and continue through the village to the ‘T’ junction. Turn left and then almost immediately right to Dumbleton. Follow the road into the village and bear left into St Peters Lane. Go up St Peters Lane and right into the circular cul-de-sac where Church End will be found on the left hand side.

The pretty village of Dumbleton lies approximately 6 miles to the east of Broadway, 6 miles to the south of Evesham and about 12 miles to the north east of Cheltenham. The village has a collection of fine period and modern houses, a church and a primary school. There is a village club, village hall, gardening club and thriving cricket club. Dumbleton Hall Hotel also has a restaurant, bar and lovely grounds to roam in. Dumbleton is well located for access to a number of important centres including the historic towns of Stratford-upon-Avon, Winchcombe, Tewkesbury and Evesham. The larger centres of Worcester and Cheltenham provide excellent shopping, educational, cultural and leisure facilities. Golf clubs are located at Broadway and Evesham. There are lovely walks immediately around Dumbleton.

Broadband availability and predicted speed: obtained from Ofcom on February 3, 2022

Broadband speed is measured in megabits per second, with the number returned showing how fast the connection is. Each reading is based on the highest predicted speed of any major broadband network for services that deliver the download speeds. The following are the different readings that we may display:

    Basic: Up to 30 Mbit/s
    Super-fast: Between 30 Mbit/s and 300 Mbit/s
    Ultra-fast: Over 300 Mbit/s

The data is updated three times a year. The checker results are predictions and should not be regarded as guaranteed. For more information, see: https://checker.ofcom.org.uk/en-gb/about-checker#Answer_0_2

Mobile phone signal availability and predicted strength: obtained from Ofcom on February 3, 2022

Mobile signal predictions are provided by the four UK mobile network operators: EE, O2, Three and Vodafone. Predictions can vary significantly from the coverage you may actually experience as a result of local factors (especially terrain). Ofcom has tested the actual coverage provided in various locations around the UK to help ensure that these predictions are reasonable. The values shown against a property can be broken down as follows:

Clear: No bars, no signal predicted
Red: One bar, reliable signal unlikely
Amber: Two bars, may experience problems with connectivity
Green: Three bars, likely to have good coverage and receive a data rate to support basic web services
Enhanced: Full bars, likely to have good coverage indoors and to receive an enhanced data rate to support multimedia services

Energy Performance data and Internal floor area: obtained on March 14, 2016 from The Energy Performance of Buildings (Certificates and Inspections) (England and Wales) Regulations 2007 or the Home Report if in relation to a residential property in Scotland.
