Elegant period house and 3 charming cottages in the Golden Vale

Kilfeacle House is an elegant period property within the lush countryside of Tipperary. The house occupies a private, westerly facing position and has benefitted from an extensive programme of refurbishment and redecoration carried out by the present owners. The accommodation is set out over two floors and extends to approximately 4,305 square feet. It is of generous and elegant proportions and is well laid out for family living and formal entertaining.

A key element of Kilfeacle House are the three beautiful self-contained Cottages (two semi-detached and one detached) which are situated to the south of the house, with own driveway, parking and outside space. The Cottages were developed by the present owners from former outbuildings and a successful holiday rental business has been established, providing an attractive and established income generation letting business. The diversification of Kilfeacle House and the additional Cottages allows for a single-family home with additional space for extended family, or as separate homes for multigenerational living.

Gardens & Grounds
Kilfeacle House & Cottages sit amidst established, formal garden grounds which are predominately laid to lawn. A notable feature is the wide array of mature deciduous trees spread throughout the grounds which offer privacy, amenity, and shelter.   A covered terrace adjoins the southern elevation of the house and is excellent for outdoor dining, while there is a further terrace to the east which includes a barbeque area.

Location

Kilfeacle House & Cottages are situated in a prime location within the rich grazing lands of the Golden Vale near Cashel. The county town of Tipperary (8 km) lies between the Galtee Mountains and Slievenamuck Hill which offer magnificent views. The 19th century market town offers a range of amenities which include a post office, variety of restaurants, bars, banks, grocery stores, dentist and medical centre, and excellent schools. The historic town of Cashel, located 12km east of Kilfeacle House, is home to the famous Rock of Cashel, one of Ireland's most visited tourist attractions. Cashel provides a range of amenities including restaurants, bars, supermarkets, bank, post office, library, schools (public and private), and a hospital.

There are excellent transport links nearby including the M8 motorway which is only 13km from the property which connects Dublin to Cork via the M7 interchange. The N34 is 8km distant and connects Tipperary town to Limerick City. There is a regular Dublin to Cork train service running from Limerick Junction Station (15 km distance) and from Thurles Station (34 km distance). Kilfeacle House is well-positioned for airports, including Shannon Airport (74 km), Cork Airport (102 km) and Dublin Airport (187 km).
