Property description & features
.Current planning permission to erect 77,000sqm venlo Glass
.Available for immediate start of construction, subject to completion of legals
Location - The proposed glasshouse site lies to the immediate north of Bandeath Industrial Estate. Bandeath Industrial Estate lies to the immediate north of Throsk. Throsk lies to the east of the village of Fallin and the town of Stirling. The A905 trunk road travels into the centre of Stirling where it joins the A872, this then gives access to the M9 motorway at Junction 9 which lies to the south of Stirling town. From there, there is good road links to Glasgow via the M80 and M8 motorway when travelling west and to the east, there is also easy access to Edinburgh via the M9. To the south of Glasgow the M74 travels in a southerly direction, joining the M6 at Carlisle, the junction being 44 located just north of Carlisle. From there, there is relatively easy access to Great Britain.
Travelling north from Stirling, one can take the A9 towards Perth and then on upwards into the Highlands. If travelling in a westerly direction one can leave the M9 motorway at Junction 9 taking the A84 towards Callander and Lochearnhead before travelling in a north westerly direction to the Highlands.
Bandeath Industrial Estate, Throsk benefits from being in a central location where HGV vehicle access is considered to be relatively good for securing access to the motorway network for travelling both north and south of the country.
Throsk is a small village lying on the A905 road east of Fallin close to the River Forth. The nearest large city is Stirling, which lies 26 miles north-east of Glasgow and 37 miles north-west of Edinburgh (the Scottish capital). Stirling Castle is visible from the site. Stirling is also famous for the Bannockburn battle site which today has become a popular tourist attraction. Stirling had a population of 48,440 in 2012. Stirling was always known as a market town and the town is large enough to hold a university which is well regarded. Stirling has all the usual urban amenities one would expect to find in a city of this size.
There is a rail connection at Stirling providing intercity rail services to both Aberdeen, Dundee, Edinburgh, Waverley, Inverness, Glasgow, Queen Street and London Kings Cross. The nearest international airports are located at Glasgow and Edinburgh.

OnTheMarket may have applied supplementary data to this property listing, including:
Broadband availability and predicted speed
Broadband speed is measured in megabits per second, with the number returned showing how fast the connection is. Each reading is based on the highest predicted speed of any major broadband network for services that deliver the download speeds. The following are the different readings that we may display:
Basic: Up to 30 Mbit/s
Super-fast: Between 30 Mbit/s and 300 Mbit/s
Ultra-fast: Over 300 Mbit/s
The data is updated three times a year. The checker results are predictions and should not be regarded as guaranteed. For more information, see: https://checker.ofcom.org.uk/en-gb/about-checker#Answer_0_2
Mobile phone signal availability and predicted strength
Mobile signal predictions are provided by the four UK mobile network operators: EE, O2, Three and Vodafone. Predictions can vary significantly from the coverage you may actually experience as a result of local factors (especially terrain). Ofcom has tested the actual coverage provided in various locations around the UK to help ensure that these predictions are reasonable. The values shown against a property can be broken down as follows:
Clear: No bars, no signal predicted
Red: One bar, reliable signal unlikely
Amber: Two bars, may experience problems with connectivity
Green: Three bars, likely to have good coverage and receive a data rate to support basic web services
Enhanced: Full bars, likely to have good coverage indoors and to receive an enhanced data rate to support multimedia services
Energy Performance data and Internal floor area
