Do you like the photos? Then maybe you would like to view this home? One of the best things about New Home 4U is, we OPEN 7 DAYS a WEEK and are physically in the office just so that you can view, like no other estate agent in Flintshire.

For some people, living in the centre of town is a must for many reasons but principal among these is the sheer convenience of having everything on your doorstep. However this also brings problems with it in the shape of parking or more precisely, the lack of it. This home however, is unusual in that in spite of being mere yards from the heart of Buckley, it has off road parking for at least three vehicles to the front and for those occasions when visitors arrive in droves, it lies adjacent to council owned car park. For anyone with school age children, the convenience continues with several excellent schools moments away on foot whatever the kids tell you.

Approached up a wide driveway shared with the bungalow behind there is a large parking area to the front of the home. A semi glazed UPBC front door opens into a long inner hallway where to the right is the door into the first of the bedrooms. This came as a real surprise as it is so much bigger than the location and outward appearance of the home leads you to expect. Kept pleasingly bright by the large forward facing window it provides more space than anyone but the most demanding could realistically ask for and in spite of overlooking the road is far quieter than it has a right to be.

Further down the hall and on the opposite side we find the remaining bedroom. This is even larger, if an interesting shape with a narrower section to the front that could easily become a dressing room area without compromising the main bedroom in any way. One feature that may require modification is the way the central heating pipework has been left exposed but this can be viewed two ways. It is either an additional unexpected heat source, or something that could be very easily concealed with minimal effort or expense.

Continuing along the hall we pass an archway into the kitchen/diner where immediately on the right a further arch takes us into the lounge. This large yet cosy space is kept surprisingly well lit by a section of glass blocks replacing a traditional window. This is a cunning way to address what may be seen as a shortcoming in the homes location by concealing the lack of any sort of scenic view, while still providing the light you need. Panoramic views, or a central location? It depends what is more important to you but what is undeniable is the cosy atmosphere engendered by the very realistic living flame effect electric fire and its faux slate surround sitting beneath the heavy solid wood mantle piece.

Stepping out of here we are opposite the dining area where refreshingly, there is ample space for a proper table which is an improvement on many rooms of this type where it is sometimes easier to eat standing up. Beyond here is the dividing barrier of a breakfast bar separating the two parts of the room. The fitted units of the kitchen are laid out in a classic U formation, the breakfast bar forming one of the arms. This has the pleasing effect of integrating the two different sections of the space into one highly sociable whole where people can relax and chat while meals are being prepared. A bit like they used to before social media became so readily available The units are thoughtfully positioned and provide spaces for all the necessary machinery to make life run smoothly, as you would expect.

At one end of the kitchen is the door into the bathroom, which appears to have been quite recently the subject of some up-dating. Fashionable marble tiles adorn the walls to half height while a series of deep shelves allow for storage of towels or perhaps, decorative pieces of driftwood inscribed Love, laugh, live. Weve all seen them The suite in here comprises a pedestal hand basin, lavatory and a traditional bath with a shower above, fed via a mixer tap.

The remaining door from the kitchen reveals a small outer lobby which in turn opens into the rear courtyard. This is divided into two separate sections, the first being a mix of decorative gravel and paving where we find a sheltered spot perfect for a summers breakfast. Beyond here is a brick store shed oh, all right its a man cave. Lacking only an electricity supply this has a concrete floor, is dry and well lit, making the sort of workshop into which Dad will disappear for hours on end. Whether or not you consider this an advantage I cant say.

The far end of the courtyard rises up onto a large section of wooden decking surrounded by white painted rendered walls. This is a excellent sun trap where, surrounded by colourful shrubs in large pots and climbing plants filling the trellis on the rear wall you could fire up the BBQ and happily while away the afternoon. And should the supplies ever run low, remember you are only a brief walk from the shops

A home of real character which began life as a tiny bungalow, but grew like Alice in Wonderland after an unfortunate encounter with a mystery bottle Radically extended to both front and rear to offer a level of space far beyond expectations, with ample parking and a sheltered and private rear courtyard garden in which it is hard to believe you are in the centre of town, all of which serve to underline just how unusual it is. If convenience is important to you but you still want peace and quiet, this is well worth a look.

    Super-fast: Between 30 Mbit/s and 300 Mbit/s
    Ultra-fast: Over 300 Mbit/s

The data is updated three times a year. The checker results are predictions and should not be regarded as guaranteed. For more information, see: https://checker.ofcom.org.uk/en-gb/about-checker#Answer_0_2

Mobile phone signal availability and predicted strength

Mobile signal predictions are provided by the four UK mobile network operators: EE, O2, Three and Vodafone. Predictions can vary significantly from the coverage you may actually experience as a result of local factors (especially terrain). Ofcom has tested the actual coverage provided in various locations around the UK to help ensure that these predictions are reasonable. The values shown against a property can be broken down as follows:

Clear: No bars, no signal predicted
Red: One bar, reliable signal unlikely
Amber: Two bars, may experience problems with connectivity
Green: Three bars, likely to have good coverage and receive a data rate to support basic web services
Enhanced: Full bars, likely to have good coverage indoors and to receive an enhanced data rate to support multimedia services
