Location
One of the most desirable features of Slaugham Manor is its ease of connection to the best that the South East of England has to offer, whilst being tucked away in its own rural oasis at the foot of the High Weald, designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Quiet country lanes provide quick access to villages such as Staplefield and Cuckfield, and nearby A roads, including the A23, make visiting larger towns and cities, such as Horsham, Haywards Heath and the coastal resort of Brighton, a breeze. Further afield, central London can be reached by train from Haywards Heath in approximately 45 minutes and Gatwick Airport is only a short journey away for those overseas journeys.

About Slaugham Manor
Completed in 1901 with the original building designed in the Jacobean revival style by Arts and Craft architect Walter Ernest Tower. Slaugham Manor was originally built as a private home & was later converted to a hotel. The next chapter in its life, spanning some 40 years, sees the building showcase conferences, training facilities and accommodation for Sussex Police.
The Manor was then acquired by Martin Homes who throughout the renovation have paid great attention to the original architectural features of the house and many of these have been retained and copied in the conversion.
Examples being distinctive battlement rainwater hoppers to the striking Elizabethan style chimney stacks and imposing stone lions which keep watch over the front entrance.
Combined with restored mullioned windows, a magnificent hallway and staircase and the application of marble and granite in abundance the apartments and high specification invigorate and enhance the buildings stately character. The 9 new apartments within the Manor, have been individually designed to provide maximum space, as well as affording every modern convenience of a contemporary home. Each has a generously proportioned open plan layout to the principle living areas, providing for light and airy entertaining areas.

Broadband availability and predicted speed
Broadband speed is measured in megabits per second, with the number returned showing how fast the connection is. Each reading is based on the highest predicted speed of any major broadband network for services that deliver the download speeds. The following are the different readings that we may display:
Basic: Up to 30 Mbit/s
Super-fast: Between 30 Mbit/s and 300 Mbit/s
Ultra-fast: Over 300 Mbit/s
The data is updated three times a year. The checker results are predictions and should not be regarded as guaranteed. For more information, see: https://checker.ofcom.org.uk/en-gb/about-checker#Answer_0_2
Mobile phone signal availability and predicted strength
Mobile signal predictions are provided by the four UK mobile network operators: EE, O2, Three and Vodafone. Predictions can vary significantly from the coverage you may actually experience as a result of local factors (especially terrain). Ofcom has tested the actual coverage provided in various locations around the UK to help ensure that these predictions are reasonable. The values shown against a property can be broken down as follows:
Clear: No bars, no signal predicted
Red: One bar, reliable signal unlikely
Amber: Two bars, may experience problems with connectivity
Green: Three bars, likely to have good coverage and receive a data rate to support basic web services
Enhanced: Full bars, likely to have good coverage indoors and to receive an enhanced data rate to support multimedia services
