"This was my first property purchase and I've really enjoyed living here the past 4 years. Now the Elizabeth line has opened, it’s very easy to commute to work with only a 20 minute tube into Central London. There's also plenty of other transport options with trains stations and bus stops close by.
I chose the apartment because of how much character it has with beautiful high ceilings, beams and aspects left from it being part of a Slazenger ball factory. Since living here I've installed plantation shutters, added some finishing touches and have been proud to call it my own.
There's a quiet, community feel here and the adjacent apartments have all been so friendly, with us having WhatsApp and Facebook groups.
There's lots of choice when it comes to local shops in Woolwich and Charlton, or a great bakery to get a coffee and croissant in Blackheath. Plus, lots of greenery to choose from with Woolwich Common, Charlton Park, Greenwich Park, or a walk along the Thames nearby.
My circumstances have changed now and I'm looking to move closer to friends and family, but I'll definitely miss calling this apartment home."
