Description - Gardeners Cottage is a charming home, which used to be part of the Lydeard House Estate. This cottage has been renovated by the current owner and includes many character features including inglenook fireplaces, beamed ceilings and a courtyard garden. There is a stunning self-contained one-bedroom annexe, which has been recently converted but the majority of the build is new and was completed in 2018, it has been unoccupied since this time and is set within separate cottage style gardens.

The utility room has a slate floor, a teak block work surface, a Belfast sink and one unit with a drawer. There is space for a freezer, a tumble dryer, space and plumbing for a washing machine, there are two Velux windows and a door out to the courtyard. The porch, which is currently used as a cloakroom and storage has original flagstones with arched half glazed wooden double doors leading to Lydeard House garden for access only for external maintenance. On the first floor there is a fitted carpet throughout (except the bathroom, which has painted floorboards). There are three bedrooms, the master bedroom having an en-suite shower with a shower, a WC and a sink. Annexe - The Annexe is of sandstone construction under a slate roof and was built and completed in 2018 to a particularly high standard. The property includes an open-planned living area with vaulted ceilings and exposed beams. The kitchen area is fitted with a range of cream shaker style wall and base units with work surfaces including an electric hob with extractor over, a sink, plumbing and space for an electric washing machine, a built-in oven, space for a fridge/freezer and there are exposed wooden floors that lead through to the living area. Directions - From Taunton take the A358 in a Northernly direction towards Williton and Minehead. Take the second turning into the village and follow this road into Gore Square. Turn right and continuing down through the village, passing the garage and then the church on your left. Then take the next left onto West Street, where the entrance for the property can be found on the right-hand side just after the butchers. An iron gate and a footpath lead to the cottage. It is advisable to park on the road by the butchers. Please note there is no allocated parking that goes with the property or on surrounding roads so you can park anywhere. There is also garaging available via a private rental for two single, locked garages adjacent to Hair Shack hairdressers located at TA4 3AT.
