"I have loved this property ever since I first walked down the drive into the large outside space with secure parking, which instantly felt so serene and quiet. It has always felt like a little oasis, hidden away from the hustle and bustle of London Road, and this is why I have been so happy to call this my home for the last 7 years.
Inside the property I have always been taken with how bright and airy the flat feels, from as soon as you walk into the hallway. This theme continues into the very sociable open plan kitchen/ living space which has a breakfast bar for entertaining, and is a bright and sunny space from dawn to dusk.
The bedroom has built in storage, as does the hallway, and there is also an outside storage unit which I have found invaluable. Additionally, as a first-time buyer, I feel I have been very lucky to find a property with a long lease, low services charges, and where the grounds are regularly upkept, the carpark is locked to prevent public use, and inside the block is mopped and cleaned weekly.
The location is fantastic for shopping, entertainment, or travel. I can be in West Croydon, Thornton Heath or Norbury within 15-20 minutes of walking, or within 10 minutes on the bus. This means I have very easy access to a cinema, and a variety of pubs, bars, restaurants, and shopping all within walking distance. The bus station is no more than 5 minutes walk away, and with direct trains from East Croydon, you can be at Gatwick Airport within an hour from leaving the property using public transport. Conversely, if you like country walks, you could be on Mitcham common within 20 minutes of leaving the flat by foot.
All in all, I absolutely love the flat and the area, and am only leaving, because I now need more bedrooms for my family to continue evolving. I will be very sad to leave but hope that the next owner will come to love this property as much as I have".
