For those occasions when you require something more comprehensive Woking town centre is just a short drive away and continues to be the subject of a huge investment programme which is giving it a far more interesting and contemporary feel with a collection of bars, cafes and restaurants as well as a theatre and multi screen cinema. A short drive in the other direction will take you into the beautiful county town of Guildford with its fabulous cobbled High Street lined with period buildings and a further extensive collection of shops and restaurants. For those people in need of a commute into London Brookwood station (33 minutes to Waterloo) is 1.5 miles from the house while Woking station, which is 4 miles away, is widely regarded as giving one of the best commutes that can be found into Waterloo in the South East. Close by there are several highly regarded golf clubs including Westhill, Worplesdon and Woking and on the doorstep there are miles of open countryside which make for excellent walking and cycling.
