Sitting on a row of similarly handsome period homes, this 'Glendower' boasts impressive rooms sizes, high ceilings and any amount of potential to rearrange. Split over two notably spacious floors, the accommodation generously comprises two large reception rooms, a sizeable kitchen/diner, three fantastic double bedrooms and bathroom. There's a bright rear garden (with outside wc) and a sprinkling of period features throughout. Talfourd Place sits within a pleasurable five minute ramble of bountiful Bellenden Village. You're as close to the much celebrated Camberwell Conservation Area and the bars and eateries of Camberwell and Peckham. Transport is a cinch with Peckham Rye Station a seven minute stroll for swift, regular services to London Bridge, Victoria, Elephant and Castle, Blackfriars, Farringdon, Shoreditch and more.
The front garden is gated and leads to a recessed portico with wonderful original tiling either side. Inward bound you meet a generous hall with those lovely high ceilings which continue throughout. A large front-facing reception comes first with a tiled 1930's fireplace and a wide square bay window. A second reception sits next door with double doors leading to the garden. Further along the hall you find access to a large storage cellar under the stairs. The kitchen diner is a fine size with plenty of dining and cooking space. To the rear you find further garden access. There's a neat lawn with planter beds and an outside loo.
Heading up to the first floor reveals a spacious landing with skylight. The front facing master bedroom is positively huge - enjoying the full width of the building. A wide square bay window supplies plenty of light. A second sizeable double bedroom sits next door with a rear aspect, storage and sink. The bathroom sits further along the landing next to bedroom three, another fab rear-facing double.
The Bellenden area has got it going on. For coffee, croissants, books, antiques, flowers and dry cleaning services, go no further than Bellenden Road where you will also find a number of good, local eateries. The South London Gallery Cafe is great for impressing visitors with! Rye Lane is tantalisingly close for any amount of culture. We love the Bussey Building for its rooftop bars and cinema! The highly considered Villa Nursery is as close - now that's an easy morning drop off! The area has easy access to Peckham Rye (zone 2 and a brisk 7 minute walk) and Denmark Hill stations (also zone 2 and about a 12 minute walk away) for services to London Bridge, Victoria and Blackfriars. The London Overground whizzes you to Clapham, Shoreditch and Canada Water for the Jubilee Line. A whole variety of buses run into town along Peckham Road, just five minutes away. There are plenty of nearby pubs and eateries to enjoy - we love the Victoria Inn for pints, vino and nosh. Ganapti and The Begging Bowl are similarly popular haunts. The wide open green spaces of Peckham Rye Park are also within easy reach. Even closer is the very lovely Warwick Gardens. It's a fine spot for a read of the papers.

The data is updated three times a year. The checker results are predictions and should not be regarded as guaranteed. For more information, see: https://checker.ofcom.org.uk/en-gb/about-checker#Answer_0_2
Mobile phone signal availability and predicted strength
Mobile signal predictions are provided by the four UK mobile network operators: EE, O2, Three and Vodafone. Predictions can vary significantly from the coverage you may actually experience as a result of local factors (especially terrain). Ofcom has tested the actual coverage provided in various locations around the UK to help ensure that these predictions are reasonable. The values shown against a property can be broken down as follows:
Clear: No bars, no signal predicted
Red: One bar, reliable signal unlikely
Amber: Two bars, may experience problems with connectivity
Green: Three bars, likely to have good coverage and receive a data rate to support basic web services
Enhanced: Full bars, likely to have good coverage indoors and to receive an enhanced data rate to support multimedia services
