What the Owners Say We purchased the property initially as a turn-key home due to spending more of our time abroad. We have since returned to the UK and have decided to purchase a larger property along the same stretch of the river, our purchase is independent of selling so we are pleased to offer no onward chain. We have loved living here (so much that we aren't moving to far afield) benefitting from the fantastic location close to amenities, coastal walks and a bustling high street.
Property Details With accommodation set over three floors benefitting from a ground floor located quayside with double garage/utility space and parking. A first floor which is street side containing the main open plan living space/kitchen and cloakroom, and to the second floor are the two double bedrooms and spacious bathroom. The property boasts delightful views from both aspects with the eastern facing windows overlooking a pleasant greensward and Coastal Walking Path; alongside the western elevation benefitting from the quayside location with views over the River Chelmer and associated quay
Setting & Location Enjoying a delightful waterfront setting in the Historic market town of Maldon is this modern 2-bedroom town house overlooking the river Chelmer. The property is part of a select development know as Chandlers Quay. Reached via Fullbridge Quay (located at the foot of Market Hill), leading to Chandlers Quay, lying within a designated conservation area with delightful views over the river.
The property is situated toward the end of a no through road with excellent walkway access, providing a hillside walk up to Maldon High Street or across the river to Tesco's, Lidl and the new Blackwater Retail Park containing Aldi, amongst other retail outlets and coffee shops.
Maldon itself is a highly sought-after maritime town, combining the charm of boutique shops and restaurants in the high street with the continued new surrounding development growth, constantly improving the town. The town is conveniently located with the A12 a 9 mile drive away and the nearest mainline station is from Hatfield Peverel (5.7 miles) with the larger City of Chelmsford and Colchester being 12 and 20 miles respectively.

Broadband availability and predicted speed
Broadband speed is measured in megabits per second, with the number returned showing how fast the connection is. Each reading is based on the highest predicted speed of any major broadband network for services that deliver the download speeds. The following are the different readings that we may display:
Basic: Up to 30 Mbit/s
Super-fast: Between 30 Mbit/s and 300 Mbit/s
Ultra-fast: Over 300 Mbit/s
The data is updated three times a year. The checker results are predictions and should not be regarded as guaranteed. For more information, see: https://checker.ofcom.org.uk/en-gb/about-checker#Answer_0_2
Mobile phone signal availability and predicted strength
Mobile signal predictions are provided by the four UK mobile network operators: EE, O2, Three and Vodafone. Predictions can vary significantly from the coverage you may actually experience as a result of local factors (especially terrain). Ofcom has tested the actual coverage provided in various locations around the UK to help ensure that these predictions are reasonable. The values shown against a property can be broken down as follows:
Clear: No bars, no signal predicted
Red: One bar, reliable signal unlikely
Amber: Two bars, may experience problems with connectivity
Green: Three bars, likely to have good coverage and receive a data rate to support basic web services
Enhanced: Full bars, likely to have good coverage indoors and to receive an enhanced data rate to support multimedia services
Energy Performance data and Internal floor area
