The Property
Staffield Hall is a magnificent and beautiful ten bedroom manor house resting in elegantly manicured grounds at the head of the Eden Valley. The picturesque surrounding landscape offers breathtaking countryside views yet the location has the convenience of excellent access to Carlisle, Penrith and the M6. The North Pennines stretch to the east, with the Lake District National Park within easy reach to the west.
The property offers a wealth of opportunities to prospective purchasers. Staffield Hall is currently configured as eight characterful and high specification self-catering holiday apartments. The holiday let business has been highly successful for the current owners, and there is scope to develop additional business opportunities. The property could be offered as a hugely desirable boutique wedding venue. Alternatively, interested parties may wish to reconfigure Staffield Hall as an incredible country manor home, with all accommodation retained for private residential use. The layout is flexible, so there are options to use part of the property for private use whilst continuing the holiday let business in a reduced number of apartments.
At the heart of the property is the stunning communal hall with eye-catching stained glass windows that bathe the splendid staircase and galleried landing in natural light. This grand hall contains wonderful original features which have been carefully retained. This dedication to the history of the building continues throughout, with thoughtful and sympathetic work reflected in the unique apertments. High quality fixtures and fittings have been selected to provide modern comfort without compromising the spirit of Staffield Hall.
Five of the apartments sleep two guests, including Butler’s Loft, Dovecote, Garden of Eden, Lady Tower and Peel Tower. A further two apartments, Heavenfield and King Oswald, are able to accommodate four people each. The final apartment, the grand and imposing Manor Hall is able to accommodate six guests in comfort and luxury. The apartments offer a mixture of layouts and a variety of outlooks, with all sharing fine attention to detail that creates an indulgent holiday treat. Seven of the apartments benefit from spa baths and all include well-equipped kitchen facilities.
Externally
Staffield Hall is approached through a pillared gateway on to taramcadam driveway that gently sweeps between trees that part to reveal open countryside stretching away. The driveway leads to a parking area which provides ample space for the needs of the apartments.
The manicured gardens provide a graceful outlook for Staffield Hall, with wide terraced lawns stepping down from the property to a resplendent stone fountain. Boundless countryside views provide a breath-taking panorama beyond the gardens.

Broadband availability and predicted speed
Broadband speed is measured in megabits per second, with the number returned showing how fast the connection is. Each reading is based on the highest predicted speed of any major broadband network for services that deliver the download speeds. The following are the different readings that we may display:
Basic: Up to 30 Mbit/s
Super-fast: Between 30 Mbit/s and 300 Mbit/s
Ultra-fast: Over 300 Mbit/s
The data is updated three times a year. The checker results are predictions and should not be regarded as guaranteed. For more information, see: https://checker.ofcom.org.uk/en-gb/about-checker#Answer_0_2
Mobile phone signal availability and predicted strength
Mobile signal predictions are provided by the four UK mobile network operators: EE, O2, Three and Vodafone. Predictions can vary significantly from the coverage you may actually experience as a result of local factors (especially terrain). Ofcom has tested the actual coverage provided in various locations around the UK to help ensure that these predictions are reasonable. The values shown against a property can be broken down as follows:
Clear: No bars, no signal predicted
Red: One bar, reliable signal unlikely
Amber: Two bars, may experience problems with connectivity
Green: Three bars, likely to have good coverage and receive a data rate to support basic web services
Enhanced: Full bars, likely to have good coverage indoors and to receive an enhanced data rate to support multimedia services
