Local knowledge

Living in Wraysbury

Wraysbury is a picturesque riverside village between Windsor and Staines within the prosperous Thames Valley region on the outer edge of Greater London. The village offers excellent communication links and is ideally situated between the M4 and M25 with access to junctions of both motorways within two miles. Heathrow Airport is approximately 10 minutes’ drive and there are bus routes to Staines, Slough, Eton Wick and Heathrow. Two stations within the village are serviced by the Windsor to Waterloo line with a journey time into London of 45- 50 minutes.

Wraysbury has its own village primary school, while a selection of secondary schools and colleges are located in nearby Slough and Staines. The village church is believed to be of 12th Century origin and was significantly reconstructed during the 19th Century.
