RENOVATION PROJECT! Secluded chalet-style bungalow with fabulous views over the Marshwood Vale and approx 2/3rd acre of land. EPC Band F

Situation And Amenities - The village of Marshwood has local amenities including a church, primary school and a thriving and artistic local community. As well as a good variety of local primary and secondary school options, Marshwood lies within the catchment of the renowned Woodroffe school in Lyme Regis. The village is surrounded by the beautiful rolling countryside with Dorset's highest hill, Pilsdon Pen, in view. The surrounding countryside offers an abundance of walks and bridleways. Lamberts Castle, which is one of a number of impressive iron aged hill forts in West Dorset, is nearby and is very popular with dog walkers. The village is ideally placed for Axminster, five miles away, giving good rail links to London and the southeast and westwards to Exeter or further into Devon and Cornwall. To the South, there is access to the stunning Jurassic Coast at the pretty coastal towns of Charmouth and Lyme Regis (which has featured in many films over the years).

Description - RENOVATION PROJECT. This secluded brick built chalet style bungalow is accessed via a long drive and enjoys a large mature and well stocked garden with additional land behind. The internal accommodation comprises glazed porch with entrance hall, cloakroom, front living room, separate dining room, fitted kitchen with boot room to side, two double bedrooms and a bathroom with a staircase leading to a large loft bedroom with panoramic views from Pilsdon Pen to the Golden Cap on the Dorset coast.

Outside - The drive is bordered by mature trees and shrubs and leads to a parking area and garage. From here a path leads to the private garden which enjoys fabulous far reaching southerly views over the Marshwood Vale and beyond. The garden itself has a large lawned area which has been planted with a huge variety of plants and shrubs. Above and behind the house is a good size plot of land accessible from the garden or drive with wildflower meadow, but which now lies mainly unused, ideal for growing fruit and veg.

Services - Mains electric & water. Heating by electricity, 1 night storage heater and wood burner. Private septic tank drainage.

Broadband - Standard up to 6Mbps and Ultrafast up to 1000Mbps.
Mobile phone service providers available are EE, Three, O2 and Vodafone for voice and data services outside, and limited voice services for EE and O2 indoors.
(Broadband and mobile phone information taken from Ofcom website Results are predictions and not a guarantee. Actual services available may be different from results and may be affected by network outages).
